Toward Sustainable Environment

Responding to growing trends and needs in the architectural profession in Hong Kong and in the region, the programme engraves sustainable architecture and design as the embodied direction in the Master of Architecture programme. The department envisions in delivering an architectural programme that is unique in Hong Kong whilst aiming at educating architects that will advocate and engage in leadership in sustainable architecture, social responsibility and creating resilient communities.

Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Architecture

The Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) programme is accredited by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) and Hong Kong Architects Registration Board (ARB, HK) Professional Accreditation (Part I). The programme is also accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) since 2007, which is fully recognized under the Hong Kong Government Qualifications Framework (QF).

Master of Architecture

The Master of Architecture programme is accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ), and is fully recognized by the HKSAR Government. The programme aims for further accrediation from the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) and Hong Kong Architects Registration Board (ARB, HK) Professional Accreditation (Part II) in November 2017.
