Ray is a Structural Engineer and has over 17 years working experience for the structural design, project management and site supervision of various structural engineering projects including residential buildings, commercial, hotel, railing building structures, footbridge, hospital, foundation, excavation and lateral support and tunnel projects. Ray has been the Corporate Member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers since 2004, and became a Registered Structural Engineer, HKAR in 2008.

He obtained Bachelor of Engineering at The University of Hong Kong (1995–1998), and Master of Science, Construction Project Management at The University of Greenwich (1999-2001)

He was a structural leader to design the Siu Sai Wan Complex and Ko Shan Theatre New Wing which won the Merit Award from HKIA Annual Awards in 2010 and winner of Community, Culture & Tourism Project Award – Built and Sustainability Project Award in 2015 respectively.
