Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Architecture programme had obtained the Hong Kong Institute of Architects Part I status.
the programme is also accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) since 2007, which is fully recognized under the Hong Kong Government Qualifications Framework (QF).

HKDSE students with scores of 3-3-2-2-2 are eligible to apply for the programme.  <detail>
the programme welcomes candidates who are interested in architectural design, regardless their major study area are in science, arts or commence in secondary school. it also provides advanced standing opportunity for graduates from Architecture-related Associate or equivalent degrees .

SSSDP subsidy

tuition subsidy of $40,000 per academic year (up to a maximum of 4 years study duration) per student is provided to students enrolled via the SSSDP. consequently, up to 40 number of new student's tuition fee would be HK$29,000 and HK$34,000 for their first two years and last two years of study each year respectively.  <detail>

Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP) and Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS), are available to undergraduate students supporting their tuition fee and living cost.  <detail>

Financial Assistance

Students in need can apply for student financial assistance. Students who are admitted to the subsidized places under the SSSDP may also apply for student financial assistance in respect of the actual amount of tuition fees payable (i.e. the tuition fees payable after deduction of the subsidy).

Programme Structure

The Programme is designed to develop students’ potentials and academic capacities by providing courses in the following five categories:
Year 1:
Emphasizing fundamental principles and concepts covering a wide range of basic design practice, environmental science, computer application and architectural history etc. for further development.
Year 2:
Developing intermediate level of theory and knowledge in various fields for architectural design and application in real practice.
Year 3 and 4:
Mainly consisting of professional and more advanced knowledge and theories in architecture.  Emphasizing the design for complicated situations through the design projects and the application of design and management skills in studio projects.
