When people face darkness, they need tools to cope with the problem, like they need a torch to create light in a dark room. But before they could utilize these tools, they need a support which is the battery. Similarly, in this project, the dormitory acts as the battery to ease the problem of residences such as fatigue or pressure in daily life with the accommodations provided in the dormitory and this is the invigorate. The Banyan trees originally in Wan chai park are transplanted in the basketball institute not only to express the gratitude to LCSD for donating the Wan Chai Park site to construct the basketball institute, but also to divert public’s attention on the back of house in the institute.
