Rick Lam is the co-founder and director of Architecture Commons. He received his BA (ArchStud) from HKU and his M Arch I from Harvard GSD. At Harvard, he was the recipient of the Core Prize, the Thesis Prize, the Faculty Design Award, and the Peter Rice Prize for Structural Innovation. He had served as guest critic for the BAC, Pratt Institute, Taichung University, HKU and among others.  His work has been published in Harvard Studioworks, New York Times, Architects Newspaper, Boston Globe and Metropolis Magazine. Rick has worked in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Boston, and New York City from residential renovations to master planning. Rick is a licensed architect currently running the Hong Kong office of Architecture Commons, with a focus on educational projects.
