Kevin Siu is a member of the HKIA and a Registered Architect in Hong Kong. He completed his Bachelor degree in architectural studies with first class honors and subsequently Master of Architecture in the University of Hong Kong. He also received part of his professional training in the Ecole Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris, France, and was awarded the Y M Wong Memorial Prize of Design for his academic achievements. With the aim of bringing academic innovations into his professional practice, Kevin Siu participated in a wide range of projects, ranging from national museum venues, mega-size master planning projects, to very sensitively conceived institutional architecture. He is currently running his own practice and adopts a design-by-research and research-by-design approach, in order to radically investigate how meanings, culture, poetics, functions and rationale can be woven together into both objects and space.
