Senior Lecturer

B.A. (Arch. Stud.) (1st Hons) (HKU)
M.Arch. (HKU)

HK Registered Architect
Chartered Architect (RIBA)

Kuen worked in AGC Design Ltd. since graduation and participated in renowned local projects such as the ‘Central Oasis’; he was also involved as Resident Architect for the Innovation Tower at the HK Polytechnic University. With over 6 years of building experience, Kuen has now founded his own Architecture Studio - AJ-AR.

As a part of Hong Kong’s Generation Y, Kuen strongly believes that architecture is fundamental to people’s daily lives. His passion towards architecture extends to projects outside ‘buildings’; and he hopes to widely promote the interaction between local HK culture, architecture and the community.

Kuen has been the design partner for MaD Asia Forum since 2012; an active exhibitor for many local events such as the HKIA Reveal and Reveal2 exhibition, and also a significant contributor to international exhibitions such as the HKIA Taipei ‘Hong Kong Week’ Exhibition and the HKSZ Bi-city Biennales.
