Kay Choy is a practicing architect with more than 20 years of experience, and has been involved in a wide range of projects of different scales. In addition to her architectural profession, as a lifelong learner with special interests in law and psychology, she had also obtained a bachelor degree in law and recently a master degree in psychology. She believes that practicing architecture is an integration of the technicality of our professional knowledge, together with the art of engagement with stakeholders to realize their visions into the built environment.
Kay has also been actively involved in coaching our young professionals and education of architectural students. She is currently a member of the HKIA Professional Assessment Committee and the Subject Panel of Paper 2 (Building Contracts), Paper 6 (Site Design) & Paper 7 (Building Design) of the HKIA Professional Assessment. She has been delivering lectures for these Papers, and acting as office supervisors and advisers for HKIA exam candidates. Apart from teaching Building Practice at Chu Hai College, she has also been teaching Professional Practice and Project Management for the Master of Architecture programme at the University of Hong Kong.
